| Symptom | Cause | Remedy |

| Low power | Low pressure at the Inlet | Check the air supply. For top performance, the air pressure must be 90 psig (6.2 bar/620kPa) at the inlet. |
| Internal dirt accumulation | Pour about 3 cc of a clean, suitable cleaning solution into the air inlet and operate the tool for a few seconds. Immediately, pour a few drops of the recommended oil into the air inlet and operate the tool for about 30 seconds to lubricate the internal parts. | |
| Worn Piston and/or Cylinder | Replace the Piston and/or Cylinder. | |
| Lack of adequate lubrication | Check the lubricator to make sure it is working properly. If a lubricator is not used, pour a few drops of the recommended oil into the air inlet after every two hours of operation. | |
| Leaky Throttle Sleeve | Worn Housing Seals | Replace the Housing Seals. |
